Monitoring of land cover using satellite images on the example of the Fergana Valley of Uzbekistan

Sites for studying plants and forests of the Fergana Valley 2000 2018 were analyzed using remote sensing method. Archival images Landsat satellite, cadastral map city plan, satellite data higher resolution Canopus Rapid Eye used research. The obtained indicate that over past 18 years in study area, there has been an increase fragmentation urban forest areas a significant reduction class deciduous mixed plantations from 28108.40 hectares to 27906.46 hectares. accuracy is confirmed by modern criteria geoinformation statistics. proposed method thematic mapping assessment methods landscape indicators will reduce cost work compared ground-based studies their accuracy.
